Production Projections

The mining system is designed to operate to depths of 200m and to extend out to 1000m from the entry point.

Expected ore extraction rates with the projected slurry pump installations should be in the region of 1800-2000 tph for a SORDMiner. Mining rates will however depend on the size of the slurry pumps instaled but can be tailored to individual deposit requirements by varying the slurry pump size and/or by using multiple machines. SORD Co believes it's possible to build and operate SORDMiners with a rating of 10,000 tph for oil sand mining.

SORDMiner Applications

The SORDMiner has the potential to provide substantial economic and environmental benefits for resource recovery in areas where conventional mining methods are environmentally inappropriate, uneconomic or simply not possible.
